Where the money goes
It costs over £25,000 each year to run the Regatta. The money we raise from the events we hold goes on fireworks, entertainment, and programmes. This doesn’t pay for Regatta alone and so we rely on the generosity of others through fundraising and donations.
our sponsors
Various organisations based in Salcombe make generous donations (of at least £100, often considerably more) to support events. We are very grateful for their support and are happy to acknowledge them here.

Of course, we would like to increase our number of Vice Presidents so that we can improve the Regatta and, indirectly, donate more to local charities. Vice Presidents are asked contribute at least £25 to the Regatta, and we would encourage Vice Presidents to set up a standing order so that they can easily contribute on an on-going basis. In future, as a registered charity, we will be able to claim tax deductions on contributions.
